Building Connections.
Growing Communication.

Rooted Connections Therapy is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathology practice serving families in the Edmonton area.

Our approach is grounded in a simple belief: children develop communication through relationships, meaningful experiences, and opportunities to connect with the people around them.

We provide individualized, play-based speech-language therapy designed around each child's strengths, interests, communication needs, and family goals.

Sabreena Braich, M.S. SLP

Hi! I’m Sabreena.

I’m a neuroaffirming Speech-Language Pathologist who values each child’s unique way of communicating, learning, and experiencing the world. I recognize that communication can look different for every child.

My goal is to foster an environment where children feel understood, valued, and empowered to communicate in ways that are authentic to them.

Why Rooted Connections?

The name Rooted Connections reflects the foundation of my approach.

Strong roots provide stability and support growth. In much the same way, meaningful relationships and connection create a foundation for communication to grow.

Therapy is not simply about producing sounds or saying more words. It is about helping children communicate their wants, needs, ideas, emotions, and personalities while feeling understood and supported.

Beyond the Therapy Room

When I'm not working with families, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughters, travelling, and reading.

These experiences continue to remind me how much children learn through curiosity, relationships, exploration, and everyday experiences.

Let's Connect

If you're wondering whether speech-language therapy may be helpful for your child, I'm happy to start with a conversation.
